Welcome

Who are we? Well we are a small family that makes candles in our spare time. A mother and daughter team. I had to think of something, because my daughters are heading into high school and are looking forward to going onto college. It is very hard for me to make ends meet being a single mom.
Child support is not coming in regularly so I have to do other things to make money. I work full time but it barely pays the bills. I think we all have some sort of sob story. So to turn this sob story around I decided to make candles. We really enjoy working together as a family. It has brought us closer together too.
Sure there are some arguments about who makes the best candle, who has the best scent, who gets to make what then there are the days when the girls say, "Oh mom do we have to?"

I just have to keep reminding them that this might pay for their schooling.

Here are my two beautiful daughters.

If you are wondering why they look so close in age.

You guessed right. 

They are exactly one minute apart.

Needless to say I think they are more of a handful now than when they were babies.

"Wink..Wink.."

Anyway why am I blogging?

Well As you know Blogger does not allow advertising anymore on their site. Believe it or not they call it Spam.

So this is what I am doing.

I am just showing off some of my work and if you like what I have you can email me directly.

I won't hunt you down to get that sale.

I won't throw a bunch of Spam in your mailbox. I don't even like Spam it tastes too salty..

"ha..ha.." Just kidding.

Anyway I do enjoy making a sale, but I enjoy more showing off some of what we have done.

I am adding more and more each day.

Our new creation will soon be up here too. 

I call it the Silver Bullet.

It is a hand crafted bullet shaped Candle. The base is a Tuna Can.. Two different scent combinations in the first candle I created.

The next candle will be one scent.

The scent I created myself.

It has a touch of leather and lace, a touch of sweet grass and a hint of jovan musk.

Smells unusual. I wanted something that resembled wolf bane. If there is actually a scent like that.

Support a small family owned business.

Why do people insist on supporting big corporations who make candles.
I will not mention any names.
There are many small home based businesses out there that make candles and many nice things.
Things that support a family not a huge corporation. "Again no names."

For example: We are a mother and daughters candle business. We dabble in making candles, tart melts, laundry soaps, odor eliminator sprays, floor powders and more.

We use many recycled materials when making our candles.

We do something that corporate or larger businesses will not do for our customers.
"What is that?"

We make custom made orders for our customers.
If we do not know how to make something we are aimed to learn.

Just last week I had customer ask me if I can make her a drippy pillar candle. "Well, I have never made  a pillar candle before and found it quite fun." It took 6 candles to finally get one right.
Now that I started making pillar candles I have added that to my inventory of items I make.

We do not keep a lot of candles in stock. Here is why.
We want the freshest product for our customers.
We want to offer our customers something else that no one else will.

We have  a great rewards program and an online catalog. The catalog does not look the best, but it is in pdf file format. You can pass it to your friends or keep it to yourself.
